Ernestine Lavine Green

Ernestine Lavine Green, 94, of Angleton passed away on Wednesday, May 25, 2016 at her home. Funeral services are set for 10:00 a.m. Saturday, May 28th, 2016 in the Palms Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Angleton Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday evening from 6-8 at Palms Mrs. Green was born July 27, 1921 in Frelsburg, Texas to Percy & Mary Leyendecker Kollmann. She was raised a country girl and was known to pick more cotton than any man. She was an avid domino & card player, loved to fish, gamble & dance. But her main love was her family. Her parents, her husband, Richard E Green, daughter-in-law Debra Green, sisters; Doris Schmidt & Mary Venghaus and their spouses, sister-in-law Ora Dell Kollmann preceded her in death. Survivors include include 5 generations, her children; Richard L Green, Jack R Green & wife Jackie & Sharon Wyers and husband Charlie. Brother; Charles "Buck" Kollmann. 6-Grandchildren, 9- Great Grandchildren & 2-Great- Great-Grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Monty Green, Jody Green, Charlie Wyers, Jr, Stephen Green, John Krueger & Doug Smith.
