Elva Guzman Gonzalez

Elva Guzman Gonzalez, 94, of Bonney, Texas, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, July 8, 2026, surrounded by her family.

Elva was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, Antonio C. Gonzalez, her parents Encarnacion and Evangelina Guzman, her siblings: Baldemar Guzman, Consuelo Zamora, Alberto Guzman, and great granddaughters: Regina Martinez and Kimberly Jauregui.

She is survived by her daughter, Rosa G. Jauregui (Refugio) and her son Antonio G. Gonzalez (Naomi). She is also survived by five grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, and five great great grandchildren.

Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m. with the Rosary at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, July 10, 2026, at Palms Funeral Home. The Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 11, 2026, at Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Angleton. Interment will follow at St. Anthony’s Cemetery in Danbury. 

Pallbearers are Andrew Danna, Marcos Calderon, Noe Calderon, Raymond Martinez, Joseph Jauregui, and David James Jauregui, Sr. Honorary Pallbearers are Refugio Jauregui, Jesse Rodriguez, and Steven Rivas.
