Doris Louise Jackson

Doris Louise Jackson, of Angleton passed away on December 31, 2025. Doris was born to Barney and Hannah (Dupree) Corgey. She met Lockhart Jackson, the man that would become her husband, and they wed in 1946.

Doris was faithful in the Lord, God fearing and pious. She enjoyed making her dutiful contributions to her parish, and an active social life with friends, family, and loved ones. No one who enjoyed her company could avoid taking upon themselves a little bit of the light that shone so brightly within her, and not one of them could ever have felt so blessed than as to have gained her favor.

Doris was preceded in death by her husband Lockhart in 2005. Others that preceded her include her parents, her brother BL, her sisters Ethel, Irene and Willie Mae Stuart, her nephews Willie Albert Stuart and Gary Ohnesorge, and her niece Jennifer Zapalac.

Left to remember her are her nieces Evelyn Marie Cole, Barbara Ohnesorge, Wanda Jean Zapalac, Susan Shepard, Lee Barnett, Virginia Ohnesorge, and her nephews Wayne Dubose, Michael Ohnesorge, and James and Frank Cole.

Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, January 6, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at Palms Funeral Home.
