Donald Toombs Donald Toombs, 78, of Danbury passed away Wednesday March 22, 2017 in Angleton. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Friday March 24, 2017 in the Palms Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Danbury Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 11:00 until service time. Donald was born May 9, 1938 in Piggott, Arkansas to William & Flora Johnson Toombs. He was a US Army Veteran and longtime Danbury resident. Donald was preceded in death by his parents, his son Dale Toombs, brother Curtis Toombs & sister Della Risinger. Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Evelyn Toombs. Sons; Darrin Toombs & (Lisa) Daniel Toombs (Brandi) & Daughter, Donna Strebeck ( Larry) all of Danbury. Grandchildren, Mary Robertson, Mandy Shannon, Larry Strebeck, Darik Toombs, Lindsey Toombs, Devin Toombs & Dean Toombs. Great-Grandchildren; Jacie , Julie & Benny Robertson.
