Longtime Brazoria County resident, Dickie Dale Williams, 60, passed away Wednesday, January 9, 2013 at his home in Danbury. Funeral services will be Sunday, January 13, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. in the Palms Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be Saturday evening from 5-8 p.m. at Palms. Dickie was born January 5, 1953 in Pecos, Texas. He worked as a rig welder, a job that he dearly loved. He was a family man and was a loving son, father & grandfather. Survivors include his mother & stepfather; Gladys & Robert Reese of Coleman, daughters; Brandie Ward & husband Richard, Lacie Williams & Lyndsie McKinney & husband Kenry all of Danbury. Brother; Doyle Williams & wife JoAnn of Llano, sister; Shiryl Turner & husband Dale of Danbury, grandchildren; Kyler & Gavin Ward, Michael Brown, Kenry McKinney, Jr., Kamrin & Kentsie McKinney. Nephews; Doyle, Dustin & Cody Hickman. Honorary pallbearers will be Doyle, Dustin & Cody Hickman, Michael Schuerg, Lawayne Hutson & Rocky Rhodes. Dickie's family request that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to account number 88685-7 that has been established at Texas Dow Employees Credit Union to help with funeral expenses.
