Clyde Everett Blackwell 1943 - 2023 Clyde Everett Blackwell (Everett), 79, of Angleton passed away on April 28, 2023. Everett was born on June 5, 1943 in Angleton to Everett Marvin and Winnie Lou (Taylor) Blackwell. He attended Angleton public schools and graduated from Angleton High School in 1962. He married the love of his life, Beverly Ann Andrews on November 21, 1964. He was employed by Dow Chemical Company as an Instrumentation & Electrical Technician for over 31 years. Everett had a passion for aviation. He built a shop specifically to construct an airplane in. He obtained his pilot's license in the early 70's and enjoyed his time with other aviation enthusiasts until death. Everett and Beverly enjoyed traveling the country with his parents. Their favorite destinations included Missouri and Tennessee. Everett was a kind soul that was always willing to assist others in time of need. He will be dearly missed by all that know him. Everett was an active member of The Rock Church in Clute, Texas and viewed members as family. Everett was preceded in death by parents, Everett M. Blackwell and Winnie Bradberry. Stepfather, Beaman Bradberry; brother, Terry Blackwell; and son, Richard Blackwell. He is survived by his wife, Beverly Blackwell (Angleton); son, Darrell Blackwell (Alvin); brother, Tim Bradberry (wife Callie) of Angleton; and many other family members. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. with the Funeral Service beginning at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 3, 2023 at Palms Funeral Home in Angleton. Pastor Ronald Evans will be officiating.
