Christopher David Vines, 41, passed away in his sleep, Monday, November 1, 2021 at his home in Angleton from a sudden heart attack. He was born June 4, 1980 to parents Charles (Chuck) and Pamela Vines in Angleton, TX. Chris graduated from Angleton High School in 1998. On March 5, 2005, he married his soul mate, Christinna Wyrick. In 2006, they had son, Nicholas Vines and in 2007, daughter, Paige Vines. The birth of his children were the happiest days of his life. Growing up Chris was a friend to many. He was in cub scouts and played little league baseball. He enjoyed horses, hunting, hanging out with friends and family, and pestering all seven of his siblings. At the age of 10, Chris was bucked off of a horse and suffered a severe brain injury leaving him partially paralyzed on his left side and in a coma for 10 days. He was a true miracle, first opening his eyes on Good Friday and awakening from the coma on Easter Sunday. He worked hard and learned to walk and talk again regaining most of the use of his left side and even riding horses again. In high school he was a student athletic trainer for the Angleton Wildcat football team. He was cherished by the team and was Doc's right hand man. Chris was a hardworking, dedicated man. He was instrumental in the start and success of Crystal Clear Pools & Spas in Angleton, working many hours for almost 16 years. Chris was very well known in the community for his selfless, caring heart. He was the one you could call to count on and he would drop everything to come help family, friend or stranger, although he never really met a stranger. His kind soul made him an instant friend to anyone he met. Chris loved his family deeply. His wife and two children were his world. He had the kind of love for others, especially his family that is so rare and irreplaceable. Chris' passion was raising his cattle and being involved in every aspect of his children's lives. He asked for so little but gave so very much. Chris was preceded in death by his grandparents, Mary Peterson, Doug and Lou Vines, Roy and Lorine Clegg; father, Chuck Vines; nephew, Jacob Dugger; cousin, Jared Kossum; Uncles, Doug Martin and Jerry Clegg; Aunt, Ann Clegg, cousins, Tonia Clegg and Melissa Clegg and childhood friend, Trenton Breazeale.
