Charlotte Ann Hines

Charlotte Ann Karl Hines, 68, passed away peacefully on April 26, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.

Charlotte was born on December 11, 1956, in East Bernard, Texas, to the late Charlie and Lillie Karl. She grew up with a strong sense of family, kindness, and creativity that she carried with her throughout her life.

Charlotte married the love of her life, Kenneth Hines, and together they shared 48 wonderful years of marriage. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. Her greatest joy came from spending time with her family, especially her beloved grandchildren.

Charlotte is survived by her husband, Kenneth Hines; her daughters, Tammy Barker, Stephanie Moore, and Angela Childers; her brother, Michael Karl; and her grandchildren, Trenton Barker, Brayden Barker, Drake DeLaCruz, Emma Childers, and Bode Childers.

Charlotte was known for her kind and loving spirit. She cherished playing cards with her grandchildren, creating beautiful quilts, and expressing herself through painting. Her warmth, creativity, and gentle heart touched everyone who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Charlie and Lillie Karl.

Charlotte’s memory will live on in the hearts of her family and all who were blessed to know her.
