With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Cassandra Ann Sarabia, beloved wife, mother, sister, and grandmother, who left this world peacefully on August 17, 2025, at the age of 50 at her home. Born on January 6, 1975, in Salem, Arkansas (Fulton County), Cassandra made her home in Rosharon, Texas, where she embraced life with creativity and warmth.
Cassandra was a talented artist with a passion for arts and crafts, painting, and flower arranging. She found immense joy in gardening and cherished her love for chickens, which brought a unique charm to her home. A devoted housewife, she created a nurturing environment for her family, exemplifying kindness and compassion in every interaction.
On June 25, 1996, in Angleton, Texas, Cassandra married her soul mate, Octavio Sarabia, under the guidance of Judge Richard Davis. Together, they built a life filled with love and laughter.
Cassandra is survived by her loving husband, Octavio, and their four children: Omar Sarabia (Keila), Christian Sarabia, Damian Sarabia (Kayla Hernandez), and Eric Sarabia. She also leaves behind her brothers: Carroll Moore, Christopher Moore, and Curtis Moore, her sister: Catharen Sarabia (Jose), and her cherished grandchildren: Kimberly Sarabia, Ares Sarabia, and Zendaya Sarabia.
Cassandra is now reunited with her beloved parents, Carroll and Carolyn (Lay) Moore, who welcomed her into heaven with open arms.
A visitation will be held at Palms Funeral Home on August 25, 2025, from 6:00 PM ~ 8:00 PM, allowing friends and family to gather in remembrance and support one another during this difficult time. A funeral service will follow on August 26, 2025, at 10:00 AM at the same location with Pastor David Hernandez officiating. After the service, her remains will be cremated, as per her wishes.
Cassandra Sarabia will be deeply missed but forever cherished in the hearts of those who knew her. Her legacy of love and creativity will continue to inspire all who were touched by her life.
