Carolyn Josephine Harris

March 8, 1940 – March 9, 2026

Carolyn Morton Harris, 86, was born on March 8, 1940 to Charles Allen Morton & Willie Gertrude Murphy. She married the love of her life, James Buel Harris on May 31, 1958 and had 57 wonderful years together before his passing.

Preceded in death were her parents, husband, daughter, Robin Carol Harris Coe, great grandson, Robert Allen Coe, 4 brothers, Charles, Glenn, Larry, & Ronald, 4 sisters, Shirley, Jean, Dianne, & Linda.

She is survived by her 2 sons, James Wayne Harris and wife Amy of Wylie, TX & Joe Allen Harris Sr. of Freeport, TX, sister Judy Peck of Angleton, TX, sister in law, Nancy Mozisek and husband Dennis of El Campo, TX, 8 grandchildren Robert C. Coe, Rachael Coe Parsons, Ronald B. Coe, Jessica Harris Foster, Joe Allen Harris Jr, Cash Harris, Harley Harris, & Emma Harris, 10 great grandchildren, & 9 great-great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Monday, March 16, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Palms Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at the Funeral Home at 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March 17, 2026. Carolyn will be laid to rest at Oaklawn Memorial Park in El Campo.
