Brenda Sue (Menard) Milligan, 71, of Danbury, Texas, passed away peacefully in Angleton, Texas, on November 28, 2025. She was born on February 10, 1954, in Fort Smith, Arkansas, to her devoted parents, Charles and Helen (Embrey) Menard.

Brenda lived a life defined by service, dedication, and an unwavering love for her community. She spent many years working in Environmental Services at Angleton Danbury Medical Center, where she formed lifelong friendships and touched countless lives through her kindness, steady presence, and strong work ethic. Brenda also proudly served on the Danbury City Council for many years, giving her time, talents, and heart to the town she held so dear.

Cherishing her memory are her son, Jack Milligan, and his wife, Rebecca; her beloved grandson, Ashton Milligan; and her stepchildren: Robert Milligan, Ralph Milligan, Tom Milligan, and Kelly Milligan.

Brenda was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Milligan, and her daughter, Peggy Knopp, with whom she is now reunited in eternal rest.

Per Brenda’s wishes, a Celebration of Life will be held after the Christmas holidays, where family and friends will gather to honor and remember her beautiful life. The date and location will be announced once arrangements are finalized.
