Alabama was born July 8, 1951 in Eclectic, Alabama to Lloyd James & Minnie Brown Thornton, Sr. He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife Mary Holland, 3-Brothers & 1 Sister. Survivors include his 3 brothers; Lloyd Thornton, Jr., Willie Thornton & James Thornton all of Alabama and numerous nieces, nephews & friends.
