It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Arthur Wayne Moore, who departed this life on July 3, 2025. Born on September 21, 1958, in Cleveland, Texas, Wayne was the beloved son of Wayne Cody Moore and Frankie Lois Evans.

Wayne proudly served his country in the United States Navy. Following his service, he built a career as a heavy machine operator, where he was respected for his reliability, and dedication to his craft.

Wayne had a deep love for NASCAR and baseball, passions that brought him joy.

He was preceded in death by his father, Wayne Cody Moore.

Wayne is survived by his loving mother, Frankie Evans; son, Jason Moore, and wife Amanda; brother, Charles Wilson, and wife Toni; and sister Kathy Vogt, and husband Marc. He also leaves behind his cherished grandson Payton Moore, granddaughter Jillian Moore, great grandson Evan Carter Munoz, nieces: Cheryl Thomas, Cacy Wilson, and Amber Joy; and nephew Coty Lopez.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Wayne's life and legacy on Friday, August 15, 2025, at Palms Funeral Home in Angleton. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m., followed by a Memorial Service at 11:00 a.m.

Wayne will be remembered for his quiet strength, his loyalty to those he loved, and the joy he found in life's simple pleasures.
