Arthur Lardent Castle, 38, passed away on May 20, 2023. He was born January 7, 1985 to Monty and Carolyn (Caudle) Castle in Louisville, Kentucky. Arthur faced many challenges in his life, but with God's help, he dealt with them victoriously. He joined Nei Wai Chia Martial Arts School. Despite his inability to feel pain by that age, Arthur began with all gung ho. Segung Dan Suchon and Sifu Brett Baker accepted the challenge. They carefully watched him as he progressed amazingly. Before Art would take the examination to move up the ladder, he wanted to know the material to the top level. He succeeded! 2nd degree Black Belt! Arthur enjoyed riding his bike. He participated in Ready to Roll group rides preparing for the BP MS 150, 3 years in a row. He took a road trip to visit Meme in El Campo. Arthur is survived by parents, Monty Ray and Carolyn Caudle Castle, sister, Cora Louise Castle, brother, John Luke and Sharron Gibson Castle Grandparents, Jeannette and Edwin Richter of El Campo. Aunts and Uncles: Rhonda Houston, David Castle, Mary V. Sherman, Frances and Steven Regan, Ruth Ann and Peters Vinson and their families. Godparents Dwight and Judy Swim. One favorite Scripture of Arthur was, Isaiah 41:10,13 - "So do not fear, for I Am with you; do not be dismayed, for I Am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand… For I Am the LORD your God Who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, Do not fear; I will help you." Using this Scripture as his encouragement of faith, Arthur told us, "I am scared I will not be able to walk again. I believe God will help me and I will learn to walk again." And he did---and became a 2nd Degree Black Belt in Nei Wai Chai Kung Fu! A visitation will take place on Friday, July 7, 2023 from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Brazosport Baptist Temple in Angleton.
