Andrea "Andi" Guajardo

Andrea “Andi” Guajardo, age 39, of Brazoria, Texas, passed away on September 30, 2025. She was born on June 10, 1986, in Lake Jackson, Texas, to Danny Guajardo and Thelma Strother.

A 2004 graduate of Brazosport High School, Andi was known for her fierce loyalty and her heart of gold. She was a ride-or-die in every sense of the phrase — the kind of person who would give you the shirt off her back without hesitation. Loud, funny, and full of life, she never met a stranger and had a special way of making everyone around her feel seen and loved.

Andi was the best dog mom, sister, aunt, cousin, niece, and daughter anyone could ask for. She was a dedicated people pleaser who lived to support her loved ones. A true believer in Christ, she was a powerful prayer warrior, and her family finds peace knowing she has now met her Maker.

She is survived by her father, Danny Guajardo; Mother, Thelma Strother, and step-father, Doug; Spouse, Julio Machado; her beloved fur babies, Annabel, Kolby, and Izzy; her grandson, Baby Jay; her sister, Angie Leija, and brother-in-law, Marco Leija; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and a great-niece and great-nephews.

She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Gilbert and Juanita Gonzalez, and Alvino and Julia Guajardo.

Pallbearers will be Erik Machado, Kevin Poulson Jr., Christian Cardenas, Isaiah Leija, Nicolas Cantu, and PJ Contreras. Honorary pallbearers are Daniel Leija and Luke Leija.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Andi’s life during a viewing on Wednesday at Palms Funeral Home in Angleton, Texas, from 5:00–7:00 p.M. A funeral service will be held on Thursday at 11:00 a.m. at Destiny Church in Clute, Texas.
