Alison Ely Watson, 68, of Angleton passed away on July 29, 2025. Alison was born to Edward William and Mary Arthur (Peyton) Ely on November 25, 1956, in Houston.
She married Paris Oliver Watson on May 31, 2003, in Demi John, Texas.
We mourn the loss of Alison (Ali), the woman that touched many people’s lives. Like one of them said upon learning of her passing; “The world lost a beautiful life light”. She started out working at the Galleria, then was an animal health tech in a clinic in Houston. Then as she would say, she changed species and became a Paramedic. She was an EMS instructor, preceptor, and a Traumatic Brain Instructor. She worked for several EMS around Brazoria County, at Kelsey Seybold Clinic for NASA, and then Alvin ER.
Ali enjoyed fishing, antiquing, camping, floating the river, teaching EMS, and working both on the ambulance and in the hospital. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.
Those that preceded her in death include her father, mother, sister Jan Aronson, and her son-in-law Thomas Streeter.
Left to treasure her memory is her husband, Paris Watson; children: Billie Streeter & family, Olivia & Jason Garner & family, Carrie Mata & family, and Christipher & Viviana Collins & family, Dan Aronson (Jan’s husband) and family, brother Ned Ely & family, and brother-in-law Greg Bryington & family. Ali survived by her 14 grandchildren, 4 great-grandsons, and numerous other family members and friends.
A Memorial Service will be held on August 20, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at Palms Funeral Home Angleton Texas.
