Alice Elaine Spencer

Alice Elaine Spencer, 82, of Angleton passed away on June 7, 2025. Alice began her life journey on April 1, 1943, in Richmond, Indiana. Her path eventually led her to Texas, and this was where she raised her family.

A woman with an independent spirit that had a passion for grandchildren. She never missed a ball game, rodeo or school function.

Those that precede her in death include her parents Helen and Leonard Katte and Reed and Wanda Blackburn; siblings, Patty Ellis, Mary Jo Thomas, Melanie Gunder, Charlotte Keeslin, Mark Rone, Gary Fackson, and brother in laws, Bill Killen and David Gunder.

Left to treasure her memory are her daughters Carol and husband Ricky Sweeny, Linda White; grandchildren, Dr. James Atkins & wife Becky, Colby Sweeny, Conner Sweeny and Mallorie White; Sisters, Marjory Killin, Deborah Kirtley; brother, Robert White, and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

The family wishes to send a Thank you to IPH Hospice, and a huge Thank you to Loving Legacy Assisted Living, Justina, Chris, and Judith. You went above and beyond taking care of Mom and we can never Thank you enough!
