Robert Earl Blair, 61, of Oyster Creek, passed away on Sunday, November 30, 2014 in Lake Jackson. Funeral services are set for 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 3, 2014 in the Palms Funeral Home Chapel with Brother David Pate officiating. Burial will follow in the Angleton Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday evening from 5-7 at Palms. Robert was born December 27, 1952 in Freeport, Texas to Earl & Jo Ann (Windsor) Blair. Bobby graduated from Brazosport High School and Brazosview and boxed with Tommy Blair Boxing Club. He had worked for Brazosport Regional Medical Center for 18 years. Bobby loved to work with kids and would often build boxing rings for kids in his area. He would dress as a clown to raise money for MS and he loved to dress up as Santa Clause for the children. He loved music and would play his guitar and sign Gospel songs. Bobby was known to most as Uncle Bob, he and Cindy helped with raising all their nieces and nephews. He was seen riding his bike, carrying his guitar, his bible and collecting cans. He was preceded in death by his father, his brother; James Franklin Blair, brother-in-law, Tony Mosqueda, niece, Joni Mosqueda, nephew Tony Mosqueda, Jr and father-in-law; Sandie Sandlin Survivors include his wife whom he called "Beautiful Little Woman" Cindy Blair of Oyster Creek, mother; JoAnn Linscombe & husband Lester of Zavalla, Tx, mother-in-law; Chris Sandlin of Oyster Creek, brothers & sisters; John Lewis Blair, Judy Mosqueda & Eva Marie Blair all of Brazoria, Cindy's siblings and numerous nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Chris Whitworth, Allen Verastigue, Randall Taylor, Jerry Garner, Matt Mosqueda & Neal Blair.
