Celebration of Life for Lois Fay Blas Stevens (GiGi), 85, of Angleton will be held on Saturday January 22, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at First United Methodist Church in Angleton. Lois Fay Blase Stevens (GiGi), went to her eternal resting place with God on January 17, 2022. She was born June 14, 1936 in Needville, TX to Arthur Blas and Olga Bremer Blas. She attended grade school in Needville. Her family moved to Rosenberg where they owned Blas Dry Goods for 68 years. She graduated from Lamar Consolidated High School and then graduated from Texas Lutheran College in Seguin, TX in 1959 with a B.S. degree in business education. Lois Fay Blase Stevens (GiGi) married Floyd H. Christian, Jr in Rosenberg, TX in 1959. They later moved to Angleton where she became a faithful servant of the First United Methodist Church for 57 years until her death. She taught elementary school in Angleton for over 25 years, from which she retired. She was a homemaker and a wonderful, caring, and loving mother to her 2 children, Corey and Courtney. But most of all, she was a Mother, she loved being a Mother with all her heart. GiGi always put God, her children, and grandchildren before herself. Later in life, she married Seth Stevens, of West Columbia. Seth and GiGi loved to travel, dance, and spend time with their children and grandchildren. GiGi is preceded in death by her parents, brother Ricky Blas and stepdaughter Tammy Stevens. She is survived by her husband of 27 years, Seth Stevens, son, Corey Christian, and wife Sandi (whom she loved dearly) and grandchildren Conner, Mallori, and Carson, and daughter, Courtney Christian, and "hubby" Dusty Hall and grandchildren Ciara and Kayla, and honorary grandchildren Clayton and Vallori Ganze. She is also survived by her stepsons, Gary Stevens and wife Susan, and Darrell Stevens and wife Linda, and seven grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren and numerous other family members. She will always be remembered as one of the sweetest and kindest souls by those that knew her. She will be greatly missed by countless family members and friends. Her soft and caring nature will be cherished and remembered always. WE love you and will miss you until we meet again in Heaven. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in her name to be made to First United Methodist Church, at 219 N Arcola St, Angleton, TX 77515, or at www.angletonfumc.org. Service Details.
