Leon 'Leon' Horky

Leon Victor Horky, Jr., 62 of Angleton Passed away on Saturday, January 24, 2015. He was born to Leon & Emma Horky on September 24, 1952 in Angleton, TX. Funeral Service are set for Saturday, January 31, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Danbury, TX. A Public Visitation will be held on Friday, January 30, 2015 at Palms Funeral Home from 6-8:00 p.m. with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. Leon loved fishing, hunting and spending time with his grandsons. He was also a member of the Knights of Columbus, retired from Dow, and a longtime member of Dow Reservoir, he never turned down a chance to go fishing and loved going to game rooms with his cousin Greg. He is preceded in death by his wife Karen Horky, father Leon, Sr., In-laws Alvin & Mary Hartfield and sister-in-law Sandy Mikoloas. Leon is survived by his daughter Jennifer Horky, his son Jeffrey Horky and wife Regina, mother Emma Horky, brothers; Ray Horky and wife Joan, Bill Horky and wife Rhonda, sister-in-law Barbara Schellberg and husband Gary, brothers-in-law Marvin Hartfield and wife Lisa, and Dale Hartfield and wife Lawayne, Tim Mikoloas, Alton Hartfield and wife Jan, grandsons; Hunter, Alejandro(Hondo), and Logan, as well as numerous Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews and Cousins. Serving as Pallbearers: Rudolph Prihoda Jr., Jim Zapalac, Greg Zapalac, Dale Hartfield, Alton Hartfield and Marvin Hartfield.
