Lavern Murry Donnelly

Lavern Murry Donnelly was born on October 20, 1924, on a small farm in Lavaca County near the town of Sweet Home, Texas. He died on December 28, 2021, in Angleton, Texas. Lavern proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during World War II. He moved to Angleton in 1953 and worked for Dow Chemical Company for twenty-nine years. Strong in his faith, he was a member of Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church and The Knights of Columbus Council #5155. Lavern is preceded in death by his wife of 66 years, Imogene Dvorak Donnelly, his parents, Ernest and Edith Mudd Donnelly, son, Gary Donnelly, daughter, Sharon Henderson, sisters, Mary Alice Donnelly, Jo Ann Brehm, Sister M. Lucilla Donnelly, Margie Schindler, and Etta Nugent. He is survived by his son, Larry Donnelly and wife, Angela, daughter, Diane Krenek and husband, Donnie, daughter, Wanda Moore and husband, Wayne, grandchildren, Barrett Hall and wife, Shawna, Michelle Hall, Amber Casey and husband Jade, Stacey Proctor and husband, Chris, Andrew Moore and wife, Sidney, Jason Hill, and Travis Henderson, great grandchildren, Hunter Hall, Kyla Casey, Hunter Henderson, Hailey Henderson, Samantha Proctor, and Guy Proctor. He is also survived by his sisters, Mertes Culak, Erna Braden, and Therea Bohne. A mass for Lavern will take place at Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church, on Friday, December 31, 2021, at 9:30 am. Interment will follow at Angleton Cemetery Service Details.
