Demi Lynn Smith

d. December 1, 2014

Our sweet and precious angel, Demi Lynn Smith, passed peacefully in the arms of her loving parents, Jarrod and Hayley Smith of Danbury, and went home to be with Jesus on Monday, Dec. 1, 2014. Demi lived life to the fullest and definitely left her mark on our hearts and on the world. She was always full of joy and her giggles were contagious. Waiting rooms, elevators, and her church full of people who loved her were constantly blessed by her smiles and precious laughter. She accomplished so many things in her 3 short years, but nothing surpassed how she could brighten a room with her presence. Demi was full of determination and worked hard everyday at achieving new and exciting goals. She was always being cheered on by her big sisters and her mom and dad who lovingly encouraged her to make everyday special. God used her little life to make the world a better place. In addition to her loving parents, Demi is survived by her big sisters Hannah and Madeline Smith, paternal grandparents, David and Jill Smith of Danbury; maternal grandparents, Glynn and Kay Craft of Pearland. Uncle Jeff and Aunt Kim Kapsiak of Crosby, Uncle Justin and Aunt Kristi Smith of Danbury, Aunt Dana (NayNay) Smith of Danbury, numerous cousins, great uncles and aunts and a host of other relatives and friends who loved Demi very much. The family would like to thank the doctors and staff of Texas Children's Hospital of Houston for the incredible care they provided to Demi and the entire family. Also, countless "Thank You's" to her therapists and doctors who helped her achieve so many goals and skills during her lifetime by their sacrifices and love shown to her. Their love was evident as they worked with her at her home, at school, and at TCH. Words cannot express the gratitude we have for all the friends and family who have supported us during this time. Your prayers and gifts of love are very appreciated. Visitation will be held at Community Baptist Church, 6114 5th Street, Danbury, Thursday, Dec. 4th from 6-8pm.
