Betty Jean Skidmore

Betty Jean Skidmore, 84, of Freeport, TX passed away on Thursday, November 9, 2017. She was born to William & Grace Thompson on March 6, 1933 in Palatka, FL. Betty loved her family dearly, she loved every moment she could spend with them eating crawfish, fishing, camping, crabbing and cooking for them all. She was preceded in death by her husband George A. Skidmore, daughter Betty Jo Milstead, son William A. Hunter, Sr., and son-in-law Thomas F. Wilkinson. Betty is survived by her children son Danny E. Hunter and spouse Nanette of Chauvin, LA, Joe Hunter III of Huntsville, AL, daughter Linda R. Bryant of Albuquerque, NM, daughter Lottie G. Wilkinson of Freeport, TX, son George A. Skidmore, Jr., and spouse Julie of Freeport, TX, daughter Legena L. Kimball and spouse Jerald of Freeport, TX, son Adam (Chuck) Skidmore of Freeport, son-in-law Mike Milstead of Bayou Blue, LA, 32 Grandchildren, 59 Great-grandchildren, and 6 Great great grandchildren, foster son David Estes, and fur babies Tipsy, Lola and Tuffy.
