Domingo Ordonez

Domingo Ordonez, 57, of Angleton went to be with the Lord on Sunday, January 24, 2010 surrounded by his family.

He was born December 28, 1952 in Angleton, Texas to Felix and Ruth Ordonez. Domingo worked at Kroger for 28 years in the produce department. He loved to tend to his plants and decorate his yard. He also enjoyed outdoor cooking for his family and listening to his Beatles.

Domingo is preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Felix Ordonez, Jr. & Tom Ordonez and sister, Louisa Delosantos.
He leaves behind many to cherish his memory including his loving wife of 34 years, Helen Ordonez; son, Cesar Calderon (Cindi); daughter, India Ordonez (Lee Sosa); brother, Henry “Coon” Ordonez (Terri); sisters, Barbara Trevino (David), Martha Silva (Frank), Terry Samora (J.R.) and Alice Robinson (Mike); grandchildren, Angelica Calderon and Diego Ordonez and “Special Son” Max Robinson and numerous nieces and nephews.

Domingo’s family will welcome visitors to Palms Funeral Home from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday evening; with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Angleton at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, January 27, 2010. Burial will follow in Angleton Cemetery.

Pallbearers are Maximilian Robinson, John Calderon, Eli Guardiola, Eladio Martinez, Carlos “Curly” Calderon, Tino Ordonez. Honorary Pallbearer will be Nico Sauceda.

The Ordonez family would like to give a special thank you to Dede Arroyos and Regina Rangel for their dedication and compassion to Domingo and his family.
