Johnnie Mac Steves, 60, of Angleton passed away Wednesday, July 28, 2010 Houston, Texas. Funeral services are set for 2:00 p.m. Saturday, July 31, 2010 in the Palms Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be Friday afternoon from 1-3 at Palms
Burial will follow in the Angleton Cemetery.
Johnnie Mac was born May 10. 1950 in Freeport, Texas to Frank J. & Katie Bryan Steves.
He graduated from Angleton High School in 1969 and served in the US Army in Vietnam as an MP. He loved hunting & fishing but most of all he loved his Grandaughters; Piper & Ella Chesnut
Survivors include his wife; Monica
Daughter; Jennifer Chesnutt & husband Kirk
Brother; B.B. Steves , Sisters; Patsy Steves, Gail Williams, Francis Norris & Joan Flournoy, father and mother-in-law; Jake & Minnie Mutina
Pallbearers will be Byran Steves, Jr., Michael Wayne Steves, David Allen Steves, Rick Williams, Glenn Hill & A.D. Roberts.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Piper Chesnutt, Ella Chesnutt, Kirk Chesnutt & “Hall Members”, Frank J. Steves, II, Steven Williams and Randy Hamblin.
