Bessie Lewis, 86, of Angleton passed away Friday, August 20, 2010 in Tomball. Funeral services are set for 2:00 p.m. Monday at 2nd Baptist Church of Angleton. Burial will follow in the Angleton Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday evening from 5-7 at Palms

Bessie was a Charter Member of 2nd Baptist Church of Angleton where she served as Sunday School Teacher & Director and Church Treasurer. She had been a 4-H Leader for many years and was an avid follower of her children’s activities, and worked for the Light Company for many years. Most of all, she was a servant of people & her God.

She was preceded in death by her Husband; Allen Lewis, her Parents & 9 Brothers & Sisters.
Survivors include her Sons; Harvey Lewis & Larry Lewis & wife Maryann.
Grandchildren: Christopher Lewis, Gabriel Lewis, Makenzie Lewis, Cassidy Lewis & Katie Lewis. Great-Grandchildren; Isabella Lewis & Brody Lewis, and many nieces and nephews.
