Anita Rivera, 81, of Angleton passed away Monday, August 30, 2010 in Lake Jackson.
Funeral services are set for 10:00 a.m. Thursday September 2, 2010 at Life 4-Square Church in Angleton with Alex Montenegro officiating. Burial will follow in the Angleton Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday, September 1, 2010 from 6-8 p.m. at Palms Funeral Home.
Mrs. Rivera was born July 26, 1929 in Mexico to Luis & Felipa Guerra Hernandez, and had lived in Angleton for 64 years. She loved to garden at her home and at the Ranch in Rosharon.
Mrs. Rivera loved her birds and Garage Sales, both having and attending them.
She was preceded in death by her Parents; her son; Arturo Rivera, her daughter; Beatriz Rivera & Brother; Miguel Hernandez
Survivors include her husband; Felipe Rivera
Sons; Eulogio Rivera & wife Mina, Juan Rivera & wife Norma, Eduardo Rivera & wife Rosario, Jose Luis Rivera & wife Anna, Armando Rivera, Javier Rivera & wife Heather.
Daughters; Guadalupe Hoelscher & husband David, Maria Elena Mireles & husband Joe,
Rosemary Grubbs & husband Tracy, Dolores Henderson & husband Thomas & Sally Howell & husband Willie.
Sister; Maria Gonzalez, 39 Grandchildren & 25 Great-Grandchildren
Mrs. Rivera’s sons will serve as Pallbearers
