Garet Gatzka, 24 of Clute passed away Friday, August 6, 2010. He was born December 29, 1985 in Lake Jackson, TX to Ronald Gatzka and Jeanne Houston. Garet enjoyed tattoos, drawing, going to the movies and going out to eat and was an avid shoe collector.

He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Yolanda Gatzka. Garet leaves behind many loved ones including his mother, Jeanne Garcia and husband Eddie; father, Ronald Gatzka; daughter, Audrey Diane; mother of his child, Margi Cardona; brother, Michael Fernandez and wife, Mandy and their children, Emanuel and Liliana; sister, Amanda Simon and husband Tommy Park and their son, Devin; step-brother, Jiame Garcia and wife Rebekkah and their daughter, Isabella; grandparents, Gene Houston and Ruth and Robert Estes; and numerous other family members.

The family will welcome visitors to Palms Funeral Home on Wednesday, August 11, 2010 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be Thursday, August 12, 2010 at Palms Funeral Home at 11:00 a.m. with burial to follow in Jones Creek Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Michael Fernandez, Jiame Garcia, Joey Cardona, Gary Pearson, Derek Houston and Brandon Booth. Honorary Pallbearers are Tommy Park, Bruce Houston and Robi Booth.
