Funeral services for Wanda Lee Berel, 81, of Clute will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday at Angleton Cemetery with Ron Brock officiating.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday at Palms Funeral Home.
Wanda was born Feb. 22, 1929 in Bentonville, Arkansas to William and Lena Carroll Pendergraft and passed away Tuesday August 10, 2010 in Clute. She was an owner and operator of several restaurants in the Brazoria County area.
Wanda was preceded in death by her first husband Tom Pruitt, her second husband Joseph Berel and son Tom Pruitt Jr. 5 brothers and 3 sisters. She is survived by her daughters, Linda Strawder, of Kansas, Janice Covington of Houston, Brenda Pruitt of Clute, Pam Benton of Brazoria, 14 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
Pallbearers will be her grandsons.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to American Alzheimer’s Association.
