Miranda Raymond, 26 of Angleton passed away after a brief battle with cancer at MD Anderson in Houston, Texas on Thursday, November 6, 2008.

She was born to Douglas and Sharon Raymond on July 14, 1982 in Freeport, Texas.

Miranda was a member of St. John Lutheran Church of Angleton. She loved her family and her dogs. She enjoyed reading and watching movies.

She is preceded in death by her grandfather, W.J. Raymond and grandparents, Charles and Joyce Smith.

Miranda leaves behind many to mourn her loss, her parents, Douglas and Sharon Raymond; sister, Vanessa and husband Clayton Coale; grandmother, Kitty Raymond; nephew, Caysen Coale; aunts and uncles, Don & Cindy Raymond, Gail & Chaco Perez and Billy & Mary Smith; cousins, Kristopher, Ashley, Melissa, Angie and Tracy.

The Raymond family will receive visitors from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Palms Funeral Home on Sunday, November 9th. Funeral services are set for Monday, November 10, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. at St. John Lutheran Church in Angleton. Burial will follow in Angleton Cemetery.
