Albert DeWitt Knight

Albert DeWitt Knight, 76, of Angleton passed away Sunday, August 31, 2008 at Christus St. Frances Cabrini Hospital in Alexandria, Louisiana.
He was born in Boyce, Louisiana.
A U.S. Air Force Veteran, Mr. Knight was retired from Dow Chemical after 32 years of service.
He was preceded in death by his wife; Alvie Jean Martin Knight; his parents; Simon Eugene & Lucy Nichols Knight, brothers; Jack, Willard, Lewis & Huey Knight.
Survivors include his son; James DeWitt Knight & wife Holly Ann of Missouri City, Texas, Grandchildren; Cody Walker Knight & Riley Elizabeth Knight of Missouri City, Tx & sisters; Barbara Sharp of Lena, La, Altha Reed of Alexandria, La, & Maudie Rudisill of Natchez, Mississippi.
Memorial services are set for 4:00 p.m. Thursday, September 4, 2008 in the Palms Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jeff McDowell officiating. Visitation will be Thursday from 3:00 until service time.
Graveside services will be held at 10:00 am Saturday, September 6, 2008 at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Ball, Louisiana with visitation from 9 am until service time at the grave.
