Tomasa Sisneros, 93, of Freeport passed away Monday, September 29, 2008 in Houston
Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday at Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Angleton, Texas
Visitation will be Wednesday from 5-8 with a Christian Wake services at 6:30 p.m. at Palms Funeral Home.
Mrs Sisneros was born March 7, 1915 in Linares, Mexico to Felix & Concepcion Gallardo
She was a member of the Guadalupana Society and was very active at St. Henry Catholic Church & later at St. Mary’s Catholic in Freeport. She was an Avon Representative for 35 years and was Den Mother for Boy Scoot Pack 309, and had owned her own flower shop.
Always active in any Mexican-American activity in Freeport, Mrs. Sisneros was an avid volunteer in the community.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Isidoro, her parents, daughter; Maria Hernandez, son; Robert Sisneros & brothers; Felix & Marcus Gallardo
Survivors include her sons; Frank Cisneroz & wife Manuela, Jesse Sisneroz & wife Mary Esther, Isidoro Sisneros, Jr & wife Gloria & Joe Sisneros & wife Ilene.
Daughters; Antonio H. Ruiz & husband Onofre & Mary Jane Ramirez
Sisters; Hortencia G. Delgado & Anita Garcia
13 Grandchildren & 13-Great-Grandchildren
Pallbearers will be Joe Jesse Sisneroz, Jr., Jerald J. Sisneroz, Frank Cisneroz, Onofre Ruiz, Jr., Sigifredo Garcia, Onofre Ruiz, Patricia Cisneroz & Vanessa Bass.
