Eva Ruth Easterling McFerrin

Eva Ruth Easterling McFerrin, 87, of Angleton passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 6, 2010 in Houston.

Eva was a spirited, hard working woman who loved our Heavenly Father. She was a rock to her family as she lived by example in Christ’s love. Eva was raised in Groesbeck, TX and moved to Angleton, TX when she married her late husband, Ira Daniel McFerrin.

She is survived by her son Robert McFerrin and his wife Betty Lou, as well as their children, Eric and Shelby; her daughter-in-law Eleuteria McFerrin and her children Tony, Fabian, Robert and Ruben Cardenas; Her grandchildren Tracy and Amanda Lindsay; and her nephew and neice Billy and Judy Easterling.

She was preceded in death by her daughter Martha Lindsay, her son Charles McFerrin, and her brother A.R. “Ace” Easterling.

Eva was a loving wife and mother, and she now rejoices eternally in the arms of the Lord our God.

Visitation will be Thursday, July 8, 2010 from 6-8pm at Palms Funeral Home in Angleton. Funeral services are set for 9:00am Friday, July 9, 2010 in the Palms Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Angleton cemetery.
