Vonda Fay Wollam, of Danbury, is resting peacefully in heaven. She was born in Hoxie, KS on November 7, 1921 and was called home on June 19, 2010 in Danbury, TX.
She is enjoying a glorious reunion with her loving husband, C.E. “Chuck” Wollam, her grandson Kevin Drew Wollam and her parents Curtis and Hazel Clark and stepmother Annie May Clark, brother Raymond Clark (Eunice) and sister Ruth Bacak (Jake), sisters-in-law Marie Smith(Julius), Betty Jean Kuchar(Buddy) and brother-in law Bill Wollam(Louise).
She is survived by her children Charles Allen Wollam and Betty Ruth Frasier (Corky). Grandchildren Fay Knape (James), Melinda Goff (Louis), Donna McDearmont (Greg), Darrell McIntyre (Kristi), Curtis Wollam (Mary) and Brenda Wollam (late Kevin Wollam). Great Grandchildren Breah Walder (George), Patrick Knape, Miranda Goff(Steven Smith), Lys Goff, Sonya Beck (Chris), Kenzie, Kayla & MacKenna McIntyre, Kevin Lee Wollam & Karen Wollam, Dustin Wollam and Elizabeth Harrell(Brent). She is also survived by four Great-Great Grandchildren, Karson, Lane, Kortlyn and Trey. She leaves behind three very special friends Mary Wooten, Mary Louise Galichet and Dorothy Kuchar, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
Active Pallbearers will be Karson Walder, Patrick Knape, Darrell McIntyre, Curtis Wollam, James Knape, Louis Goff, George Walder and W. R. Wollam.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Kevin Lee Wollam, Dustin Wollam, Greg McDearmont, Chris Beck, Brent Harrell, Steven Smith, David Lee Wollam and Jacko Garrett.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 21, 2010 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm and services will be on Thursday at 10:00am at Palms Funeral Home, officiated by Bro. David Smith.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Jennifer Cooper and Rachel Wollam for being there for Grandma and our family in her final days.
