Billy Jo White woke up in the arms of her Savior, Jesus Christ, smiling on Friday, June 25, 2010.

Billy was born February 3, 1931 in Anahuac, Texas to Joe and Odessa Newman Nelson. She was 79 years of age. Billy loved playing the piano and working with flowers. She is a retired Dow Chemical Company employee.

Her parents preceded her in death, along with her son, Ronald Lloyd Roberts; sister, Sue Turney and brother, Buddy Nelson.

She leaves behind many loved ones, including her sons, Tommy Roberts and wife Debbie of Angleton, and Terry Roberts and wife Pam of Angleton; grandchildren, Tammy, Robbie, Rhonda, Renee, Joshua, Kimberly, Kyle and Courtney; 10 great grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren and beloved dog, Charlie.

The family will welcome visitors Sunday, June 27th from 6:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Palms Funeral Home in Angleton. Funeral services will be Monday, June 28, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at Palms Funeral Home with burial in Angleton Cemetery.
