Eli Wollam, 58, of Jones Creek passed away Thursday, July 10, 2008 at his residence. Memorial services will be held at 6:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 15, 2008 in the Palms Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be Tuesday from 5-6.
Eli was born May 23, 1950 in Freeport, Texas to Alfred Eli & Virginia Wollam.
A retired Pipefitter for Dow Chemical , he was was an avid outdoorsman, who enjoyed Hunting, Fishing, Camping & Trail Rides.
He served on the Board of Directors for the Brazoria County Trailriders Assoc for 20 + years & was a member of Pipefitters Local 209.
He was preceded in death by Grandparents; Ora Don & Louise Wollam
Survivors include his wife; Lisa Wollam of Jones Creek, Children;
Charles Eli Wollam & wife Gail of Missouri City, Stephanie Wollam of Angleton
Parents; Alfred Eli & Virginia Wollam of Danbury
Step-Daughter; Kimberly Ambrose of Angleton
Brothers; Ora Don “ Skeeter” Wollam & wife Bobbye Ann
& Robert “PeeWee” Wollam & wife Rachel both of Danbury
3-Grandchildren
Honorary Pallbearers will be J.R. Johnson, Gerald Duke, Sam Hatfield, Johnny Archery, Doke Hall, Kenny Batts & Mitchell Peltier
