Robert Tyus

January 23, 1925 ~ July 12, 2008

Robert Tyus, 83, of Angleton, Texas passed away Saturday, July 12, 2008. He was born January 23, 1925 in Corsicana, Texas. He served in the military during WWII from 1943-1945 in Europe and was awarded the Purple Heart. He was preceded in death by his wife of 46 years, Dorothy Helyn Tyus, Daughter; Nikki Darlene Taylor, & Grandson; Michael Keith Hebert Cooper.
Robert is survived by his two children, Robert Stanly Tyus, Jr and wife Trisha of Burleson, Texas & Connie Lynn Blumberg & husband Gary of Angleton, Texas
Seven Grandchildren & Twenty Great-Grandchildren.
Visitation will be Monday, July 14, 2008 from 11-1 at Palms Funeral Home
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday in the Angleton Cemetery.
In lieu of usual remembrances, donations may be made to the American Legion
