Jeannette Leonard, 81, of Angleton passed away Monday, August 25, 2008.

She was born February 16, 1927 in Sweeny, Texas to John Tribble & Nelle Myrtle Chenault.

Jeannette was a member of the, Angleton-Danbury Hospital Auxiliary; 100 Club and the Wilkins Street Church of Christ. She loved to work.

She is preceded in death by her parents, sisters; Lydia Elizabeth Chenault, Barry Louise Chenault, Kathryne Lorene Chenault and Marjorie C. Heintsche.

Jeannette is survived by her husband, Melvin Leonard, sisters; Clairette C. Pool of Missouri City, TX, Bobbie Tribble Chenault & Leslie G. Hunt both of College Station, TX, and Virginia C. Miller of Conroe, TX. She also leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held at Palms Funeral Home Thursday, August 28, 2008 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Funeral services are set for Friday, August 29, 2008 in the Palms Funeral Home Chapel at 2:00 p.m. with Leland Rodgers officiating.
